Hello there, dear players!
Today I want to talk about the current state of the "PROJECT N".
So, going straight to the details, I recently rebuilt the main city after rewriting the game's lore to make everything fit together (I plan to write a separate article about the lore itself, but only after I finish the entire lore of ACT 1). Currently, the city is like 60% finished, I still need to add one more avenue that will be in the magic-alchemy theme, but I still have to think carefully about what it will look like and of course need to place some NPC's add quests but it's a problem for other time me.
In the meantime, I updated the dialogue system to make it much easier to manage dialogues and added a quest system which currently allows for missions such as talk, collect, kill. In the future, I may expand it with something more, but for now it is completely enough. (I am attaching photo of what it currently looks like)
Right now I would like to devote most of my time to writing lore for ACT 1 and missions. So as far as the current state is concerned, it is getting closer to the end with each passing day, but there is still a long way to go.
If you have any ideas of what you would like to see in such a game, let me know, I'll be happy to hear about it.
And that's it for now, the next devlog will appear only when I manage to do something specific, and we'll see when that happens. So all I can do is wish you have fun and good luck with your projects.
